In the murder case from the Alishir and Terezio districts of Khost, where 13 people were killed by three perpetrators, qisas was carried out today on one of the killers.
This is because the perpetrator, Mangal, admitted in court to the intentional killing of one person (Abdul Rahman) only. He did not confess to the other killings. In the killing of the remaining victims, two of his sons were also involved, and qisas has also been ruled for those two individuals.
However, the implementation of qisas on those two sons has been postponed because the heirs of the remaining victims were not present. Two of the heirs are currently abroad, and once they return—if they do not grant forgiveness—qisas will also be carried out upon those two perpetrators.
The perpetrator Mangal confessed only to the intentional killing of one person.
The report that was published is based on the ruling that had been approved by Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh Sahib.
