Over the past week, Afghanistan’s railway system facilitated the transfer of 170,626 metric tons of goods, including 19,544 tons from Torkham Port and 24,761 tons from the Herat-Khauf route. The shipments consisted of oil products, non-oil goods, and various commercial items. Additionally, 320 tons of dried fruits and minerals were exported via rail. This surge in railway trade is enhancing national revenues, creating job opportunities, and boosting Afghanistan’s economic growth.
